- Lipulekh Pass – between Uttarakhand
- Tibet Shipki Pass – between Himachal Pradesh
- Tibet Nathu La pass – between Sikkim
The famous and popular way to go to Tibet was Kathmandu to Tibet highway and you must have passport to cross the border.
Mount Everest
It is basically a devout land, but they have also a economy based on subsistence agriculture. Due to limited arable land, the primary occupation of the Tibetan Plateau is raising livestock, such as sheep, cattle, goats, camels, yaks, dzo, and horses.
In recent years, due to increased interest in Tibetan Buddhism, tourism has become an increasingly important sector, and is actively promoted by the authorities. Tourism brings in the most income from the sale of handicrafts include Tibetan hats, jewelry (silver and gold), wooden items, clothing, quilts, fabrics, Tibetan rugs and carpets.
The Potala Palace of Lhasa,Tibet
The Potala palace is located on the Lhasa, a great city of Tibet. It is named after the Mount Potalaka. The 5th Dalai Lama started it's construction and now the palace has about 1,000 rooms, 10,000 shrines and about 200,000 statues. This is also the palace of his holiness 14th Dalai Lama.
The Tibet is the holy place of Buddha. Though it's conservative mind cann't make themselves modern but no-doubt Tibet is one of the peaceful land of the world for their own conservation.
